Who we are

igjobs.co is a hiring marketplace for the Instagram creator economy, operated from the European Union. Data controller: Realations (contact: andreas@realations.eu).

What we collect

  • Account data — name, email, password (stored as a salted hash; we never see it in plain text).
  • Profile data — headline, bio, roles, niches, skills, languages, availability, links, and any photo/logo you upload.
  • Portfolio & verification data — links to public Instagram posts you add, collaboration claims, verification evidence you or a collaborator submit, and — if you connect your Instagram account — your handle, account type, follower count and engagement metrics, retrieved with your explicit authorization through Instagram's official login. We never see your Instagram password.
  • Usage data — messages you send on the platform, job posts, applications, and technical logs (IP address for rate limiting and abuse prevention).
  • Payment data — handled entirely by our payment processor; we store only subscription/purchase status, never card numbers.

How we use it

To run the marketplace: showing your profile to potential clients, matching jobs and applications, verifying collaborations, sending transactional emails (applications, messages, verification updates, password resets), preventing abuse, and improving the product with aggregate analytics.

Processors we rely on

Hosting/CDN and image storage (Cloudflare), database hosting (EU/US cloud Postgres), payment processing (Stripe), transactional email delivery, Instagram data access via an authorized data platform, and privacy-respecting product analytics. Each processes data only on our instructions.

Your rights (GDPR)

You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data at any time — email andreas@realations.eu. Deleting your account removes your profile, portfolio, messages, and uploaded images. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Cookies

We use a single first-party session cookie to keep you logged in. No third-party advertising cookies.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account exists and deleted on account deletion. Technical logs are retained briefly for security purposes.
